A 57-year-old man identified as Sasi Kamleshwar P. was killed following a deadly two-vehicle crash on Grand Avenue on Thursday night, February 10, 2022.

[02-10-2022] Sacramento County, CA - One Person Killed After a Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash on Grand Avenue and Norwood AvenueThe fatal collision occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. in the area of Grand Avenue and Norwood Avenue.

The victim was driving his vehicle around the area when a suspected drunk driver suddenly struck him.

The drunk driver was identified as 33-year-old Alantae H. Alantae, and two others were rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

Unfortunately, the driver of the first vehicle was killed in the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alantae was taken into custody and was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. He will be arrested on DUI-related charges with his bail set at $250,000.
