[02-10-2023] Man, Two Young Boys Struck by Woman Out on Bail in Tustin Hit & Run CrashA man and two 3-year-old boys were struck by a woman out on bail in a two-vehicle hit-and-run collision in Tustin on Friday afternoon, February 10, 2023.

According to the Tustin Police Department, the two-car crash occurred at about 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Diamond Head Drive and Bryan Avenue.

The hit-and-run driver, Kimberly S., was charged with a felony count of failure to stop at a hit & run crash resulting in harm as well as misdemeanor counts of drug possession. This is in addition to a sentencing enhancement for committing an offense while on bond for a drug possession and identity theft case.

The occupants of the vehicle struck by Kimberly, a man and two young boys aged five, were reportedly not seriously hurt. The extent of possible injuries remains unclear. No further details on their identities and current conditions were immediately available.

The female driver allegedly fled the site of the collision. Officers swiftly established a cordon around the location before a sergeant saw an Uber car with the woman inside it. She was charged on Wednesday.
