[02-11-2023] Bicycle Crash Along Prado Road Fatally Struck 23-Year-Old CyclistA 23-year-old cyclist was fatally struck after a bicycle crash in San Luis Obispo on Saturday night, February 11, 2023.

According to reports, the fatal collision transpired around 9:01 p.m. at South Higuera Street and Prado Road intersection.

According to authorities, they received calls of the crash and discovered a bicyclist was struck by one car and then another shortly after.

First responders pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene of the collision.

The second driver stayed at the scene and offered police officers full cooperation.

Authorities concluded that the driver’s use of drugs and alcohol was not a contributing factor.

The initial driver sped away from the collision.

The suspect’s car was located by police at a nearby house.
