A pedestrian sustained severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, on Tuesday night, February 11, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. in the 14700 block of West Ventura Boulevard.
Officers from LAPD’s Van Nuys Division and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene.
Emergency crews transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries remains unknown.
Authorities shut down a portion of Ventura Boulevard to conduct an investigation. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
The LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
