[02-12-2023] Contra Costa County, CA – Occupants Injured in Rollover Crash on Interstate 580

According to Richmond fire officials, the occupants of an SUV involved in a rollover crash sustained minor injuries in Richmond on Sunday, February 12, 2023.

The crash occurred on a Sunday on I-580 in Richmond.

According to Richmond Firefighters Local 188, the union representing city firefighters, the car ended up on its roof in the eastbound lanes after rolling over the center guardrail on westbound I-580 close to Marina Bay Parkway.

According to fire officials, the afternoon crash involving a single vehicle served as a reminder to always wear your seatbelt.
