[02-12-2023] Ventura County, CA – Single-Car Crash Led to Two Fatalities in Oxnard

02-12-2023-Single-Car-Crash-Led-to-Two-Fatalities-in-Oxnard-Two vehicle occupants were pronounced dead after a single-vehicle crash in Oxnard early Sunday morning, February 12, 2023.

The fatal collision reportedly occurred around 12:07 a.m. at Fifth Street and Portofino Place intersection.

Responders were called to the scene and attempted to extract the two occupants of a 2020 Honda Civic to save their lives.

The driver, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the adult female passenger was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Ventura County Medical Center, where she died from her injuries.

These victims’ identities are withheld until their next of kin has been contacted.

Further investigations on the crash are underway.
