According to the Stockton Police Department, the fatal collision occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of West March Lane and Venezia Boulevard.

The circumstances leading to the crash remain unclear. The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene, leaving the motorcycle rider with major injuries.

The rider was transported to a nearby hospital, eventually succumbing to his injuries. No further details on his identity were released.
