[02-13-2023] Santa Barbara County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on Arrellaga Street Led to Minor Injuries

According to the Santa Barbara Police Department, the five-car collision occurred around 11:00 a.m. at the East Arrellaga Street and Santa Barbara Street intersection.

The crash resulted from a vehicle’s traffic violation which caused a second car to swerve and strike three additional vehicles. Little details were known on what exactly led to the collision.

One person was reportedly taken to the hospital after sustaining minor injuries. The number of people involved and the extent of possible injuries were unclear.

The intersection was temporarily shut down following the crash before being reopened by noon.

Multi-Vehicle Accident Statistics
