[02-13-2025] Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Palm SpringsA pedestrian was fatally struck in a traffic collision on N. Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs on Thursday evening, February 13, 2025.

According to the Palm Springs Police Department, the crash occurred in the Racquet Club West area. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead on-site.

The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation led by the Palm Springs Police Traffic Team.

Following the crash, authorities closed N. Palm Canyon Drive in both directions between San Rafael Drive and Yorba Road. The roadway was reopened later in the evening.

No further details about the victim’s identity have been released at this time.
