[02-14-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Dead After a Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash in Long Beach

One unidentified person was killed after a deadly hit-and-run accident in Long Beach on Monday night, February 14, 2022.

An eastbound dark-colored sedan struck the unidentified pedestrian on Artesia Boulevard. The pedestrian was walking outside of a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The driver did not stop to render aid and drove away from the scene. Paramedics later arrived and rushed the victim to an area hospital, later pronounced dead.

Local authorities are actively pursuing the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver. They suspect that speeding may have been a factor in the crash.
