A 33-year-old man riding a bicycle was fatally struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana on Friday evening, February 14, 2025.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 6:20 p.m. near Raitt Street and Myrtle Street. The bicyclist was traveling southbound on Raitt Street when he was hit.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
