[02-14-2025] Kern County, CA – One Seriously Injured in Pick-Up Truck and Semi-Truck Collision on Highway 65

At least one person sustained major injuries after a collision between a pick-up truck and a semi-truck on Highway 65 near Lerdo Highway in Kern County on Friday morning, February 14, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the crash at 8:54 a.m. The driver of the pick-up truck was pinned in the vehicle and sustained lower body injuries.

The crash caused traffic disruptions in the area.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, and no further details are currently available.
