[02-15-2022] Monterey County, CA – One Person Killed Following a Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash in Moss Landing

One unidentified person was killed after a deadly multi-vehicle collision in Moss Landing on Tuesday morning, February 15, 2022.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision—a tractor-trailer headed southbound on Highway 1 when it swerved into oncoming traffic after overcorrecting.

The truck then collided head-on with a Toyota Camry before crashing into an oncoming Dodge Durango.

One person was killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

An active investigation of the collision is currently underway.
