A 52-year-old woman identified as Maria Barajas D. was killed following a suspected DUI crash in Oroville on Wednesday afternoon, February 16, 2022.
According to the initial reports from the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Oroville Dam Boulevard.
A speeding vehicle was traveling on Oroville Dam Boulevard when it crashed into the victim’s car. The driver of the first vehicle was identified as 57-year-old Joseph H.
Unfortunately, a 52-year-old passenger inside the second vehicle was
killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
The first driver was arrested for several charges, including vehicular manslaughter and DUI-related charges.
Local authorities are further investigating the case.
