Three people were injured after a major head-on traffic collision in Hesperia on Wednesday morning, February 16, 2022.

[02-16-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - Three People Injured Following a Head-On Collision in HesperiaThe crash happened at approximately 11:10 a.m. at the intersection of Mariposa Road and Joshua Tree.

For unclear reasons, a white 2017 Chevy Express van and a black 2014 Chevy Cruz collided head-on. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

Three people were injured following the mishap. One person sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, one driver was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center while a third person was rushed to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

The California Highway Patrol Victorville Office is further investigating the cause of the collision.
