One unidentified person was injured following a bicycle crash in Santa Rosa on Thursday evening, February 17, 2022.
The accident transpired at approximately 6:00 p.m. at Stony Point Road and Stony Point Plaza in Santa Rosa.
A 32-year-old homeless man was riding his bicycle eastbound when he failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and was hit by a northbound vehicle that was traveling on Stony Point Road.
The homeless man was rushed to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition. The driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities; he was uninjured in the mishap.
Local authorities are further investigating the case.
