[02-19-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed in an Auto Accident on Nordhoff Street

An unidentified 52-year-old man was killed following a deadly auto collision in Nordhoff Street on Saturday morning, February 19, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred at approximately 10:10 a.m. on the northbound lanes of 405 Freeway, near Nordhoff Street.

The 52-year-old man was driving his 1997 Toyota pickup truck in the No. 3 lane while a 2013 Chevrolet work van was slowing down due to stopped traffic ahead.

The pickup truck driver reportedly drove at unsafe speeds and ended up crashing into the van.

The Toyota pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the white van sustained minor injuries.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
