An unidentified 63-year-old woman was killed while four others were injured following a deadly head-on collision on Albion Ridge Road on Saturday afternoon, February 19, 2022.

An eastbound 2010 Toyota Rav4 was traveling on Albion Ridge Road when, for unclear reasons, it crossed over the solid yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming 2020 Honda Accord.

A 63-year-old passenger inside the Accord was critically injured in the crash. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the Accord driver sustained minor injuries while two of his passengers were seriously injured in the crash. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The other driver also sustained minor injuries in the mishap but sought his own treatment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case.
