[02-20-2022] One Person Killed, Several Others Hospitalized After a Head-On Collision in JamestownA 32-year-old man identified as Geno G. was killed while several others were hospitalized following a fatal head-on collision in Jamestown on Sunday evening, February 20, 2022.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Highway 120, just east of Perri Cone Road in Jamestown.

An eastbound 2004 Honda Civic was traveling on Highway 120 when the driver swerved across the double yellow lines and collided head-on with a 2021 Mazda CX-5.

The Honda Civic driver was rushed to the Doctors Medical Center but was pronounced dead two days after the accident.

Meanwhile, three people inside the Mazda sustained unspecified injuries in the mishap. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a 12-year-old old girl with major injuries was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case. They suspect that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
