Orange County Bike Accident Lawyers for Victims

Insurance companies have no obligation to protect your legal rights. They will often call as soon as possible after an accident and try to get you to make a recorded statement. You have no obligation to do so. You should say nothing to the insurance company until you have hired a bike accident lawyer.

Once the insurance company is notified that you have hired an attorney, they can no longer contact you directly about the case. All communications must go through your attorney’s office, protecting you from saying anything that could hurt your injury claim.

Having an attorney also protects you from attempts to pressure you to accept a fast – but low – settlement offer. Any settlement discussions must go through your attorney to protect your right to be fairly compensated for your injuries.
