Two people were hurt following a traffic crash involving a suspected DUI driver at Imola Avenue on Friday night, February 25, 2022.

[02-25-2022] Napa County, CA - Two People Injured After a DUI Crash at Imola and Marshall AvenuesAccording to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened at around 10:35 p.m. at Imola and Marshall Avenues.

An eastbound 2018 Audi A5 was traveling on Imola Avenue while a 2015 Dodge Challenger was heading westbound. The two vehicles then collided head-on.

Due to the severity of the impact, the Dodge Challenger was pushed towards an unoccupied vehicle on the north shoulder.

The Dodge driver sustained minor injuries in the mishap. A 41-year-old man was also injured in the crash and was transported to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.

The Audi driver was also injured in the mishap, but authorities later determined that he was under the influence at the time of the accident. The Audi driver was then arrested for DUI-related charges.

An active investigation of the mishap is currently underway.
