[02-25-2022] San Mateo County, CA - One Driver Dead in Fatal Train Crash in San BrunoAn unidentified driver was killed after a Caltrain commuter train and a vehicle collided in San Bruno Friday morning, February 25, 2022.

The fatal train accident happened on a Friday near the Tanforan Mall on Scot Street.

According to the sheriff’s office, the driver attempted to cross the tracks by going around the crossing guards.

According to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
