A 24-year-old man identified as Matt W. was killed after a deadly motorcycle crash in Thousand Oaks on Saturday night, February 26, 2022.

[02-26-2022] Ventura County, CA - One Person Killed Following a Deadly Motorcycle Crash in Thousand OaksThe accident transpired at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Lynn Road in Thousand Oaks. The victim was known as one of the Borderline Bar and Grill heroes shooting in Thousand Oaks in 2018 when he saved dozens of lives.

His motorcycle reportedly collided with a crossover SUV for unclear reasons. The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and found the victim lying near the wrecked car on the roadway. Unfortunately, he could not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV and his passenger were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The identity of the SUV driver and his passenger have not been disclosed.
