[02-27-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – One Rider Killed, Three Others Injured in Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Pinon Hills

One rider was killed, and another was critically injured in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Pearblossom Highway on Sunday afternoon, February 27, 2022.

[02-27-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - One Rider Killed, Three Others Injured in Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Pinon HillsThe fatal crash happened around 1:16 p.m. along the bridge portion of Pearblossom Highway near 263rd Street.

The accident involved a silver Toyota Tacoma and possibly a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, the motorcycle was on fire with two riders down, and people on the scene were asking for towels and blankets for the injured.

When emergency crews arrived, they discovered one rider had died, another had critical injuries, and two others had non-life-threatening injuries.

The other rider was airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital after Helicopter Air Rescue 5 landed on the scene.

CalTrans assisted CHP with a hard road closure on Pearblossom Highway in both directions until approximately 6:35 p.m.

There are no other details available. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
