[02-28-2021] Fresno County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Farm Accident in Sanger

An 82-year-old man identified as Robert H. was killed after a deadly farm accident on Monday afternoon, February 28, 2021.

The deadly accident happened in the area of Newmark and Belmont Avenues in Sanger at approximately 2:30 p.m.

The victim was working in the almond orchard, and as he was trying to make a turn, his tractor rolled down into a ditch.

The farmer was crushed by the tractor. His wife immediately called 911. Unfortunately, the victim could not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Local authorities are further looking into the accident.
