[02-28-2022] Kings County, CA – One Woman Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 14th Avenue

A pedestrian accident near Locust Street claimed the life of an unidentified woman on Monday, February 28, 2022.

Furthermore, according to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle leaving the nearby Dollar General parking lot.

The causes of the accident are still unknown.

In addition, first responders took the woman to Kaweah Health Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.

The woman’s identity has been withheld pending notification of her relatives.

Meanwhile, officials ruled out the use of alcohol or drugs as contributing factors in the accident.

There are no other details available.

The Armona Police Department is still investigating the accident.
