[03-01-2022] Three People Hurt Following a Police Chase Ends in a Two-Vehicle Crash in AntiochThree people were seriously injured after a police crash resulted in a two-vehicle collision in Antioch on early Tuesday morning, March 1st, 2022.

According to the initial reports from the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Laurel Road and Hillcrest Avenue at around 2:06 a.m.

Officers were initially pursuing a suspected carjacked Toyota for an unknown traffic violation when the vehicle crashed into another car.

Emergency personnel later arrived at the scene and extricated the trapped suspect out of the Toyota. At least three people were injured as a result of the mishap.

Additional information about the crash is unavailable at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
