[03-01-2025] 17-Year-Old Killed, Two Injured After Solo Vehicle Crash on 605 FreewayA 17-year-old boy was killed, and two others were injured in a solo vehicle crash on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway near Industry early Saturday morning, March 1, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the crash at approximately 1:30 a.m. near the junction of the southbound 605 Freeway and the Pomona (60) Freeway, where they found the vehicle in a ditch.

Emergency responders pronounced the driver, later identified as 17-year-old Sergio L., dead at the scene.

Two other occupants were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Their current conditions remain unknown.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
