An unidentified man was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in Desert Hot Springs on Thursday afternoon, March 2, 2022.

A motorcycle and an unspecified vehicle were involved in the crash. The circumstances leading up to the accident have not been established but authorities suspect that it may have been a rear-end collision.

Emergency personnel and local authorities later arrived at the scene and found the motorcycle down the roadway while the other vehicle sustained rear-end damage.

The motorcycle rider was seriously injured in the mishap and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. His identity has not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
