[03-03-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - One Person Hurt After a Big Rig Crash in BakerOne unidentified person was injured after a big rig crash near Baker on Thursday afternoon, March 3, 2022.

The collision occurred at approximately 1:35 p.m. about 20 miles south of the town of Baker on southbound I-15 between Basin Road and Afton Rd.

A purple tractor with an empty cargo trailer crashed into a white tractor, pulling empty moving pods for unclear reasons.

The driver of the second big rig was airlifted to Loma Lindo University Medical Center for treatment. It’s unclear whether other people were injured in the mishap.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case.
