[03-03-2022] Yolo County, CA – Motorcycle and Truck Collision Results in One Fatality in West Sacramento

A portion of a major street in West Sacramento is closed due to a fatal crash on Thursday morning, March 3, 2022.

The two-vehicle crash occurred just before 8:00 a.m. near West Capitol Avenue, east of Harbor Boulevard.

It’s unclear what caused the accident, but it appears that a truck and a motorcycle were both involved.

Authorities on the scene confirmed that one person died in the collision.

Due to the investigation, West Capitol Avenue has been closed from Sycamore to Cedar.

The road was closed for several hours. There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
