[03-04-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed, Another Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Three Cars Along 110 Freeway

A three-vehicle collision on the 110 Freeway killed one person and injured another early Friday morning, March 4, 2022.

A tragic accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. along the 110 Freeway and Stadium Way.

According to authorities, three vehicles collided in the area for an unknown reason.

As a result, one of the vehicles was mangled and overturned.

According to the California Highway Patrol, one of the vehicles collided with a guardrail before colliding with a metal post.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and attempted to extricate a man believed to be a passenger from the vehicle. The passenger died at the scene despite life-saving efforts.

Meanwhile, the driver was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries.

Due to clearing and preliminary duties, the area was shut down for a few hours after the crash.

Officials suspected that speed was a factor in the crash at the time.
