The accident happened at approximately 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of McLaughlin Avenue and Idlewood Drive in San Jose.

An unspecified vehicle crashed into a pedestrian at the intersection for unclear reasons. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
