Two people were killed following a deadly wrong-way collision on Highway 101 on Sunday morning, March 6, 2022.

[03-06-2022] Ventura County, CA - Two people Killed After a Fatal Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 101The fatal crash occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. in the area of Highway 101, near Telephone Road.

A northbound Honda Civic was traveling on the southbound lanes of Highway 101, which caused it to collide with an oncoming southbound Acura RSX.

Unfrotunately, the Honda driver and the Acura driver were killed in the accident. They were identified as Javier L. and Shae L. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency personnel extricated a 33-year-old man from the wreckage and rushed him to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.

An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
