[03-06-2023] Riverside County, CA – Semi-Truck vs. Pickup Collision Hospitalized One Person in Whitewater

One person was hospitalized after being trapped in the wreckage of a vehicle and semi-truck collision in Whitewater, Riverside County, on Saturday morning, March 06, 2023.

The Riverside County Fire Department reported that the two-vehicle crash occurred at about 3:00 a.m. on the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway at the Whitewater off-ramp.

The circumstances that led to the collision involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck are still being investigated. The responding firefighters had to extricate the pickup driver after being trapped inside. The victim was then taken to a hospital with moderate wounds.

The semi-truck driver was reportedly unharmed. The authorities released no further information on their identities and the injured motorist’s current state.
