[03-07-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Three People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Pedestrian in Tarzana

Authorities say two people were hurt, one of whom was seriously injured, in a two-car collision involving a pedestrian in Tarzana on Monday, March 7.

According to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department, the collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the area of 19500 W. Ventura Blvd., near Shirley Avenue.

Before LAFD paramedics arrived, the pedestrian was pulled from beneath one of the vehicles and taken to a hospital in critical condition.

One of the drivers was injured, but it was unclear whether that driver was taken to the hospital as well.

The identities of the injured victims have yet to be disclosed.

There are no other details available. The collision remains under investigation.
