[03-07-2022] San Diego County, CA – One Person Killed After a Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash in National City

A 28-year-old man was killed after a fatal two-vehicle rollover crash in National City on early Monday morning, March 7, 2022.

According to the initial reports from the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Interstate 805 at around 2:11 a.m.

A Honda Civic and a Hyundai Elantra were involved in the collision. The Civic driver lost control of his vehicle, which caused the car to overturn down an embankment.

Unfortunately, the Civic driver was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the other driver was uninjured in the mishap and was cooperative with authorities.

Information about the accident is limited at the moment. It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
