[03-08-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on South Pepper Avenue

A 57-year-old man identified as Martin V. was killed following a deadly traffic crash involving a hit-and-run driver on South Pepper Avenue on Tuesday evening, March 8, 2022.

[03-08-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - One Person Killed After a Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on South Pepper AvenueAccording to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash occurred at approximately 10:05 p.m. in the area of north South pepper Avenue.

A Dodge Challenger was traveling northbound on South Pepper Avenue when it rear-ended a Toyota Corolla. The Dodge driver then fled the scene on foot following the crash.

Due to the severity of the impact, the Toyota hit a streetlight. The Toyota driver sustained critical injuries and was rushed to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Additional information about the accident is unavailable at the moment. An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
