[03-10-2022] Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Five Vehicles Causes Injuries on in PleasantonThe California Highway Patrol has issued a sig-alert due to a five-vehicle crash blocking two lanes, which was previously blocking four lanes, of westbound Interstate highway 580 near Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton on Thursday, March 10, 2022.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred around 6:45 a.m. on I-580 near Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton.

The vehicles are being moved out of traffic as quickly as possible, but there is no estimate for when the accident will be completely cleared.

According to a CHP message, traffic is moving at only 3 miles per hour.

The accident has resulted in injuries.

There are currently no additional details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
