[03-10-2022] San Diego County, CA – One Person Killed Following a Deadly Motorcycle Crash in Santee

One unidentified person was killed in Santee after a fatal motorcycle crash on early Thursday morning, March 10, 2022.

The accident happened at approximately 5:15 a.m. in the area of State Route 52, near Mast Boulevard in Santee.

A westbound Honda motorcycle collided with a semi-truck on SR 52 for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was ejected from his motorcycle. Unfortunately, he sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The big rig driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. He was uninjured in the mishap.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
