[03-11-2023] Two People Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision in TurlockAt least two people were injured and hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Turlock on Saturday night, March 11, 2023.

According to the Turlock Police Department, the crash occurred around 10:02 p.m. at the East Olive Avenue and North Golden State Boulevard intersection.

Responders from the Turlock Police, Turlock Fire, and American Medical Response arrived at the scene and located two vehicles involved: a white 2017 Nissan Maxima with major damage and a gray 2022 Jeep Wrangler with moderate damage. Both were towed away.

Two people were transported to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. No updates were available on their current conditions. It’s unclear how many were involved.

The cause of the collision is currently under investigation. A witness, Ashur I. of Modesto, was detained on a misdemeanor bench warrant for battery at $25,500.
