[03-12-2022] Orange County, CA – One Man Injured in Violent Attack at Westminster Pool Hall Parking Lot

A 19-year-old man was arrested following a stabbing outside a Westminster pool hall last Saturday, March 12, 2022.

The stabbing happened around 1:00 a.m. in the parking lot outside of a Westminster pool hall.

In a news release, the Westminster Police Department said that officers were notified about a stabbing at International Billiards, which is located at 6328 Westminster Blvd., around 2:15 p.m. on March 12.

The man had already been taken to a local trauma center.

According to officers, the victim was stabbed in the abdomen, left arm, and head after a physical altercation with another man.

According to news reports, he is expected to survive his injuries.

During the altercation, the suspect pulled out a folding pocket knife and stabbed the victim multiple times, according to police.

According to the department, detectives began an investigation into the assault on Wednesday and identified 19-year-old James H. as the person who stabbed the victim.

Detectives apprehended Hamilton at his Huntington Beach home on Thursday and took him into custody.

On suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Hamilton was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail.
