[03-12-2022] Sacramento County, CA - Six People Injured in a Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Three Vehicles Near Terminus RoadA three-vehicle crash injured six people, including two children under the age of 13, on Saturday, March 12, 2022.

The crash occurred just before 4:00 p.m. on Highway 12 near Terminus Road, near the Rio Vista area.

Five people were transported to the hospital by ambulance, and one was airlifted, according to River Delta Fire District Chief Paul Cutino.

Roads were reopened shortly after 6:00 p.m., according to Cutino.

According to Cutino, the investigation is being handled by the California Highway Patrol.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
