[03-12-2022] Santa Clara County, CA - One Person Killed After a Deadly Pedestrian Crash in San JoseA 76-year-old woman identified as Mai Thi N. was killed after a deadly pedestrian accident on McLaughlin Avenue on Saturday evening, March 12, 2022.

The accident transpired at approximately 6:40 p.m. in the area of McLaughlin Avenue and Idlewood Drive in San Jose.

A southbound 2015 Nissan Rogue struck the pedestrian under unclear circumstances. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Meanwhile, the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries in the mishap and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
