[03-12-2022] Ventura County, CA - DUI Crash Causes Multiple Cars to Catch Fire in Thousand OaksAccording to police, a woman was arrested for driving under the influence after a collision between her car and another vehicle caused a massive carport fire in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, March 12.

The fiery collision occurred on a Saturday evening in Thousand Oaks.

According to authorities, when the woman hit the second car, a total of 13 other vehicles caught fire at the Oak Knoll Villas. The carport was severely damaged as well.

Firefighters put out the large fire, but the structure was still smoking Saturday night when NewsChopper4 Alpha arrived on the scene.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, there were no other suspects in the fire.
