[03-13-2022] Stanislaus County, CA – Woman Killed Following a Fatal DUI Crash in Modesto

A 38-year-old woman identified as Michelle J. was killed after a deadly bicycle crash involving a suspected DUI driver in Modesto on Sunday evening, March 13, 2022.

[03-13-2022] Stanislaus County, CA - Woman Killed Following a Fatal DUI Crash in ModestoThe deadly crash transpired at approximately 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Woodland Avenue and Yellowstone Avenue.

The victim was riding a bicycle northbound when a 2017 Acura ILX struck her at the intersection. The woman sustained serious injuries in the mishap and was immediately rushed to an area hospital.

Unfortunately, the woman later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Authorities later determined that the Acura driver was under the influence at the crash. She was arrested for DUI-related charges.
