An unidentified woman was left in critical condition after getting hit by her own car after a fight in Magalia on Monday night, March 14, 2022.

The unidentified woman was involved in an altercation with another woman identified as 29-year-old Kayla M.

Kayla then went inside the woman’s vehicle and accelerated towards her, hitting the woman and a tree. Kayla then fled the scene after crashing the woman’s vehicle.

The injured woman was rushed to an area hospital where she received emergency surgery. She is currently listed in critical condition.

The suspect was later caught and arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting great bodily injury on someone during the commission of a felony, a felony hit-and-run, and driving while under the influence.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
