[03-14-2022] Motorcycle Crash near Clovis Results in One DeathA 39-year-old man identified as Carson E. was killed in a deadly motorcycle crash on Monday afternoon, March 14, 2022.

The fatal accident happened at approximately 1:20 a.m. in Copper and Peach Avenues area near Clovis.

The victim was riding an eastbound 2008 Yamaha FZ1 on Copper near Peach Avenue at unknown speeds.

As he approached a section of the road that was blocked because of ongoing construction, the victim tried to apply his brakes. Still, his motorcycle began rotating clockwise before crashing into a sign and the front-end loader of a tractor.

Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was ejected from his motorcycle and landed on the roadway. Unfortunately, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the case.
