[03-14-2022] Merced County, CA - One Killed, Two Children Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Fox and Bellevue RoadA crash in Merced County that killed one person and sent two children to the hospital is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol Monday morning, March 14.

The fatal crash occurred shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Fox Road and Bellevue Road in Merced County.

According to officers, an SUV allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection and crossed in front of an oncoming semi-truck.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Two children were also in the car, according to CHP officials.

One was taken to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, while the other was taken to a different hospital in the area.

Both are expected to recover well.
