[03-14-2022] Riverside County, CA – 81-Year-Old Woman Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Desert Hot Springs

An 81-year-old woman identified as Gail B. was killed in a fatal two-vehicle collision in Desert Hot Springs on Monday, March 14, 2022.

When emergency responders arrived at the crash scene at 3:29 p.m. at Thousand Palms Canyon Road and Dillion Road intersection, they discovered Bronson of Indio and an unidentified 79-year-old woman with varying injuries.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer Jackie Q., Bronson was driving southbound in the northbound lane of Dillion Road when she collided head-on with another vehicle.

When emergency crews arrived, Bronson’s car had already overturned and was resting on its roof.

Bronson had to be extricated from the vehicle and was discovered to be seriously injured.

The vehicle of the unidentified driver sat on the driver’s side of the car, with the driver suffering moderate injuries.

Bronson was taken to Desert Medical Center, where he died later.

The Riverside County coroner’s office identified Bronson on Tuesday after her family was notified.
